BIG STRONG MAN is a hilarious and powerful show that explores Northern masculinity and society through interactive cabaret.

Four Northern men are given the impossible of fixing the men’s mental health crisis in one night.
Bonj says we should get rid of this outdated concept forever.
Winston thinks we should ask the King.
Gaz knows we should keep to the essentials: work, women, food and the gym.
Timternet has realised they’re all idiots and would rather be playing Pokemon Go.

Only one of them can become the BIG STRONG MAN, the ruler of all men from now until the end of time. Which one? That’s up to you! BIG STRONG MAN is a night of Poundland level extravagance, side-splitting comedy and electrifying performances. Featuring storytelling, song, dance, improv, ladders, competition, boy band parodies, lip syncs, placards, blocks, charity shop suits, karaoke and a bear, BIG STRONG MAN promises to be an unforgettable alternative comedy night out.

Part party, part protest, all theatre.

BIG STRONG MAN is a celebration of northern culture and community spirit which has been developed since 2018 by working with communities from across the North. Using interactive cabaret these fast-paced, skilful performers bring you the captivating atmosphere of a cabaret show or gig. Interaction is encouraged, but not essential - you can simply sit back, relax with a pint and enjoy this physical comedy spectacle/chaotic mess unfold. With over 3000 possibilities, the audience decides what happens. You never see the same show twice, but you always get what the majority wants. Your voice, your choice… just be careful what you wish for.
